Lambing day

16 January 2012

Come and see beautiful baby lambs being born in our special lambing barns at this year’s Oaklands College Lambing Day on Sunday 4th March.

Entry is free and this fun, family day also includes tours around our animal care centre, tractor rides, face painting, children's activities and much more.

Last year saw thousands of visitors enjoy a taste of the countryside on the doorstep of St Albans, and Kerry Pollard, former Labour MP for St Albans who visited on the day said: “I had never witnessed a live lambing before and it was fascinating. In addition there were piglets suckling, as well as calves and other small animals. There was a real buzz about the place and everyone I spoke to was having a great
time.”
